Ripple's Chief Legal Officer: XRP is not a security, it's like a concert ticket for Taylor Swift
Ripple's Chief Legal Officer, Stuart Alderoty, shared two images on the X platform. One is a ticket to Taylor Swift's concert at Hard Rock Stadium and the other bears the inscription "XRP is not a security". He stated that "a secondary market for such tickets does not make it a security, just like trading cryptocurrencies, not every market is a securities market." XRP is not a security, just like Taylor Swift's concert tickets. It has been reported that many industry insiders including Coinbase’s Chief Legal Officer Paul Grewal have pointed out that Taylor Swift did not promote her own tickets.
