US CPI is higher than expected, US stocks open lower
US stock market opened with the Dow Jones falling 60 points, the SP 500 index falling 0.28%, and the Nasdaq falling 0.5%. The US September CPI annual rate was higher than market expectations. Chinese concept stocks rose against the market, with the Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index up 1%.
