Cryptocurrency Company Raises $823 Million in Funding in September
Thirty-three DeFi companies announced funding rounds last month, according to TIE Terminal data. Cryptocurrency companies raised $823 million in September alone, with the funds spread across 200 different companies that raised money last month. celestia's ecosystem funding of $100 million topped the list, followed by Infinex, which raised $65 million through a public token sale. Strategic financings like Celestia's topped last month's rounds, in part because the TON Foundation raised money for its ecosystem fund. But seed rounds topped the list, according to TIE data. Forty-one companies raised seed rounds last month.
