According to Adam, a macro researcher at Greeks.live, A-shares and Chinese concept stocks have attracted all market attention this week. Cryptocurrencies are relatively weak. Even in the overall surge of Hong Kong stocks, blockchain stocks are on a downward trend, reflecting the weakness of the cryptocurrency market. Looking at data from previous years, the performance in the fourth quarter is generally good.

The IVs for all major terms are near their average levels over the past year. Before the end of US elections, IV still has support; The next two weeks will be a good opportunity to plan for Q4. Data from October 4th options delivery shows: 17,500 BTC options expired with Put Call Ratio at 0.75 and maximum pain point at $63,000 USD with nominal value $1.07 billion USD; 119 thousand ETH options expired with Put Call Ratio at 0.68 and maximum pain point at $2,500 USD with nominal value $280 million USD.
