Vitalik Buterin: We can try to increase bandwidth requirements and lower the minimum limit to 16 or 24 ETH
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin posted on social media suggesting that perhaps developers should realize that the threshold of 32 ETH is higher for stakers than bandwidth requirements. Perhaps they could slightly increase the bandwidth requirement, in exchange, lower the minimum deposit limit to say 16 or 24 ETH. This would benefit both the accessibility and scale of staking. Then, once Ethereum has completed the peerdas upgrade, bandwidth requirements will decrease and with orbit SSF ready, the minimum deposit can also be reduced to 1 ETH.

Meanwhile, stagflation signals have intensified: oil prices surged over 7% in a single week, and the 10-year breakeven inflation rate rose nearly 10 basis points in two weeks; yet consumer demand continues to cool, with Walmart same-store sales growth dropping to a six-year low of 2.6%. The "stagflation basket" rose 6.7% this week.
