US stocks open higher, S&P 500, Nasdaq post biggest one-week gains since last November

U.S. stocks opened higher, the three major indexes closed collectively higher. The Dow rose 0.72 per cent, the Nasdaq rose 0.65 per cent, the S&P 500 index rose 0.54 per cent. Among them, the S&P 500 index, the Nasdaq hit the biggest single-week gain since November last year.
