NEAR Protocol launches stateless verification to simplify blockchain architecture and improve sharding performance

NEAR Protocol is a first-layer blockchain based on sharding and PoS, aimed at incentivizing computer networks to run a platform for developers to create and launch decentralized applications. The core of NEAR Protocol design is sharding, which aims to divide the network infrastructure into multiple parts so that nodes only need to process a small part of network transactions.

 

On September 1st, NEAR announced on its official social media that NEAR Protocol has launched Nightshade 2.0, which has become easier through the explanations of NEAR One and NEAR Dev Hub teams. This update introduces stateless verification, simplifies the blockchain architecture, significantly improves sharding performance, and further promotes the development of blockchain technology.
