Bernstein rates Bitcoin miners Riot, CleanSpark, IREN and Core Scientific as "outperforming the market"
In a Bitcoin mining report released today, research and brokerage firm Bernstein rated Riot Platforms, CleanSpark, IREN and Core Scientific as "outperform", while Marathon Digital was rated as "market perform". The evaluation is based on five key indicators: production and computing power, operations and energy efficiency, electricity, cost of computing power and artificial intelligence strategy. Core Scientific leads in terms of the cost of computing power and AI strategy, while CleanSpark and IREN performed well in energy efficiency. Although Riot lags slightly in production and efficiency, it compensates through electricity credits and improved production efficiency. Marathon has increased its operational efficiency by shifting to a self-mining model.
