Aave founder: Aave V4 will have a new liquidation engine function that supports liquidation strategies
Stani Kulechov, the founder of Aave, announced on X platform that an exciting feature of Aave V4 will be a new liquidation engine that allows for liquidation strategies. This can be seen as liquidation hooks that can better fit asset types and liquidity dynamics, providing open design space for liquidation. Previously reported, Aave Labs plans to launch V4 development in Q2 2024 and release it around mid-2025.
