Elon Musk mentioned a new cryptocurrency meme, causing excitement among the community
Musk, a prominent supporter of Dogecoin, mentioned another popular cryptocurrency meme on a live stream.
Musk's casual mention that he “knows Dogwifehat ', caused speculation and excitement among the wider community of WIF followers.
That was the excitement Musk caused around Dogecoin (DOGE) , from which followers draw their fighting spirit. As a result of Musk's previous support for Dogecoin, the mention of another memecoin like WIF seemed to surprise many.
While WIF got a bit of a boost from Musk's mention, it didn't spark anything like the mass euphoria seen after his DOGE posts.
At the time of writing, the based on Solana WIF token is trading at $2.68. This represents a drop of 0.4% in the last 24 hours.
