The founder of DefiLlama, 0xngmi, posted on the X platform stating that The Block seems to have been misled by scam responses under the official post published by friend.tech, treating it as factual reporting. Earlier news reported by The Block stated that friend.tech planned to airdrop $5 million worth of FRIEND tokens to thousands of users on Sunday, which was a few days later than originally planned. These tokens will be distributed to 6,000 wallets on May 5th.
