Source: Insider: a16z invested $90 million in OP tokens in early March
PANews reported on May 1st that, according to sources cited by Unchained Crypto, a16z had invested $90 million in purchasing OP at the beginning of March. A spokesperson for a16z did not respond to requests for comment. Optimism had announced in early March that the Optimism Foundation had sold approximately 19.5 million OP tokens to an undisclosed buyer for nearly $90 million at the time.
