Vitalik: Over 90% of personal funds are stored in multi-signature wallets to avoid risks such as losing mnemonic phrases
On May 1st, news surfaced that netizens were discussing the importance and precautions of using a hardware wallet on platform X. They mentioned some risks such as others discovering the mnemonic phrase or forgetting where they hid it. In response, Vitalik Buterin commented: "This is why I use multi-signature (Safe) for over 90% of my personal funds, M-of-N scheme, where some keys are held by you (but not enough to prevent recovery), and the remaining keys are held by others you trust. Do not disclose the identities of these other people, even if they do not reveal each other's identities."
