Chiliz Chain to undergo Dragon8 hard fork on May 21
Golden Finance reported that Alexandre Dreyfus, CEO of sports and entertainment public chain Chiliz Chain, said on his social platform that the official date of ChilizChain's Dragon8 hard fork is currently scheduled for May 21, when Token Economics 2.0 will be introduced. It is reported that the new economics will set the inflation rate of CHZ at 8.8% in the first year, which will decrease year by year; in addition, the protocol will also introduce a mechanism similar to EIP-1559, and some CHZ tokens used as gas will be directly destroyed.
