U.S. SEC Seeks Comments on BlackRock's Revised Spot Ether ETF Proposal
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) sought public comment on BlackRock's proposal for a revised version of its Spot Ether Exchange Traded Fund (ETF). BlackRock proposed the ETF in November 2023 to track ethereum price performance.The SEC had delayed a decision on the proposal for a month and on April 19 accepted Nasdaq's revisions. The revised document discusses the ETF's creation and redemption process.The SEC requested 21 comments, which will be posted on its website.
