PANews reported on April 22 that the Lido community is conducting a sentiment check on the "Design and Implementation Path of Dual Governance" proposal. If the proposal is passed, the dual governance research team will continue with technical implementation. The Dual Governance Mechanism (DG) is an iteration of protocol governance that gives StETH holders the following two rights: 1) implement dynamic, user-scalable time locks on DAO decisions; 2) a mechanism that takes into account the details of how Ethereum withdrawals work Angry exit mechanism. The rough timeline is to deploy the testnet around Q3 and possibly the mainnet in late Q3 or Q4. Please note that the timeline is approximate at this time and may change based on security checks and testnet results.
