According to Spot On Chain monitoring, an early participant in an Ethereum ICO sold 2,000 ETH 6 hours ago for 6 million USDC at a price of $2,997 per coin.
Historical background:
It is worth noting that this whale user acquired 33,213 ETH through an ICO when Ethereum launched (Genesis) on July 30, 2015, at an ICO price of around $0.31 per coin.
So far, 5,110 of these ETH have been deposited into Kraken exchange or sold through DEX at a price of approximately $2,545 per coin.
