DOJ files dozens of victim impact statements from FTX creditors ahead of SBF trial next week
FTX's creditors submitted a series of victim statements in the criminal case against the founder of the trading platform, SBF. The statements indicate that the platform's collapse in 2022 deprived them of their financial security, caused emotional burden, and created anxiety and distrust towards the financial system in their minds.
On Monday, the US Department of Justice submitted dozens of victim impact statements from FTX creditors before SBF's trial next week. These victims come from all over the world and their letters describe their holdings on FTX and the impact of FTX's bankruptcy on their lives.
