MacroScope: Gary Gensler doesn't really dislike Bitcoin for the sake of protecting investors
MacroScope posted on social media saying that Gary Gensler doesn't really dislike Bitcoin because he wants to protect investors (this is just a secondary reason). Elizabeth Warren doesn't actually think the criminal use of Bitcoin is significant. Those unknown congressmen seem to have popped up suddenly, their thoughts on Bitcoin are strange, and they keep repeating these tiresome opposing views (often in ridiculous letters written to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission). In many cases, they are quietly pushed by others, including people from the Federal Reserve.
