Flow has been launched on Crescendo Previewnet, introducing support for equivalent EVM environments, allowing developers to build using EVM on Flow. Flow officials also stated that although Cadence provides some conveniences for developers, it cannot take advantage of existing applications and tools on the Ethereum blockchain. Without the support of EVM, each multi-chain platform and product needs to be customized and integrated with Flow, and the product and development speed will also be reduced.
