US STOCKS CLOSE: S&P 500 hits record high, NVIDIA rises for 6th day in a row
U.S. stocks closed Thursday, the Dow initially closed up 120 points or 0.3%, the SP 500 rose 1% to a new closing high, the Nasdaq rose 1.5%. NVIDIA (NVDA.O) rose 4.4% for the sixth consecutive session, Apple (AAPL.O) edged lower for the seventh consecutive session, narrowing the gap between the two market capitalization to $300 billion. New York Community Bank (NYCB.N) rose 5.7%. Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index closed down 0.885%, Beili Beili (BILI.O) fell nearly 2%, Jingdong (JD.O) fell more than 3%, Tencent Music (TME.N) rose more than 7%.
