Greeks.live: BTC options with a nominal value of 2 billion USD and ETH options worth 790 million USD will expire today

Adam, a macro analyst at Greeks.live, posted on platform X stating that 19,000 BTC options are about to expire with a Put Call Ratio of 1.49, the biggest pain point being $55,000 and a nominal value of $2 billion; 110,000 ETH options are about to expire with a Put Call Ratio of 0.88, the biggest pain point being $3,000 and a nominal value of $790 million.

 

The main term IV shows an obvious upward trend which is in line with the levels in January this year and March last year. The increase in option trading volume and open interest is not significant. Recently buyers have been more focused on spot protection. Solid capital inflows make the market structure very healthy. Bitcoin's current market share has exceeded 50%.
