BlackRock Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) Trading Volume Surpasses $1 Billion for Fourth Straight Day
U.S.-listed spot bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded funds continued their trading frenzy on Thursday, with BlackRock's ETF, known as IBIT, which has the second-largest total assets among bitcoin ETFs, once again ranking among the top 10 most-traded ETFs in the U.S. at around noon on Thursday, and surpassing $1 billion in volume for a fourth consecutive day. As of 1:30 p.m. ET (18:30 UTC), nearly 36 million IBIT shares worth more than $1.2 billion had changed hands with two hours left in the trading session, according to Barchart. Grayscale's GBTC and Fidelity's FBTC have also been strong, with more than $880 million and $660 million traded so far, respectively.
