US stocks opened, with the Dow Jones up about 50 points, the S&P 500 up 0.39%, and the Nasdaq up 0.6%. Most star tech stocks opened higher, with Alibaba (BABA.N) and Microsoft (MSFT.O) both up over 1%; Qualcomm (QCOM.O) dropped nearly 5% after its earnings report.
