Arthur Hayes: The downward trend of Bitcoin may indicate potential issues with US dollar liquidity
On January 22nd, BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes expressed his views on the divergence between Bitcoin (BTC) and the SP 500 index (SPX) trends on social media. He pointed out that since the launch of Bitcoin ETF in the United States, their trends are no longer synchronized in an upward direction. Hayes stated that the downward trend of Bitcoin may indicate potential liquidity issues in the future. He also emphasized that the next significant time point to pay attention to is January 31st when the U.S. Treasury Department announces refinancing plans.
