Casa Lianchuang: Spot Bitcoin ETF custodian is too centralized or has the risk of "single point of failure"
Jameson Lopp, co-founder and CTO of Bitcoin custody company Casa, pointed out that only a few designated custodians currently hold all the bitcoin that support spot bitcoin ETF shares, and most issuers list Coinbase as their custodian. The concentration of custodians may lead to a "single point of failure" risk.
