Bloomberg Analyst: XRP ETF Not Likely to Get Approval in 2024
During an interview with Thinking Crypto host Tony Edward, Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart expressed his belief that the launch of an XRP ETF is unlikely to happen this year. He mentioned that the ongoing SEC case against Ripple is a contributing factor to this stance, implying that the XRP ETF would only materialize after the resolution of the case. Seyffart also noted that before the SEC considers any application for a spot XRP ETF, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) needs to have XRP futures trading in place.
