Solana Monthly NFT Sales Exceed Ethereum for the First Time, Approximating $370 Million
According to data from the analytics platform CryptoSlam, in December 2023, monthly NFT sales on the Solana network surpassed those on Ethereum for the first time, totaling approximately $366.5 million, compared to Ethereum's NFT sales of $353.2 million. Additionally, the number of independent buyers and sellers on Solana doubled in December, leading to a significant increase in the total number of NFT transactions. According to the CryptoSlam report, there are approximately 218,000 sellers and 279,000 buyers on Solana, involved in nearly 6.6 million NFT transactions. In contrast, Ethereum has around 114,000 sellers, over 143,000 buyers, and is associated with 698,000 transactions.
