Waves will launch the UNITS Network in Q1 2024
On December 31st, Waves founder Sasha Ivanov announced that Waves will launch UNITS Network in the first quarter of 2024. In addition, from the first quarter to the second quarter, Waves will enable public access to Power DAO. From the third quarter to the fourth quarter, Waves will implement scalability upgrades for its Layer 1. It is reported that UNITS is a blockchain network ecosystem interconnected by a unified mechanism of cooperative economic incentives and consensus. It is built on top of a consensus layer and supported by a miner community provided by beacon chains. It is flexible enough to provide additional incentives for miners in each independent network.
