2023/12/29 19:15

ORDI, the most valuable token based on the Bitcoin BRC-20 standard, reached an all-time high on Friday, approaching the top 50 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. According to CoinGecko data, the largest BRC-20 asset hit a peak price of $81.96 before experiencing a sell-off, with a decline of over 11%. The current trading price is $73.92, representing a 6% increase in the past 24 hours and ranking 56th by market capitalization. However, over the past week, ORDI has been one of the best-performing cryptocurrencies, with a total increase of 45%. With a market capitalization of $1.55 billion, ORDI is listed on major cryptocurrency exchanges and is the largest token on the Bitcoin network. The current demand for ORDI is primarily speculative, but the asset also demonstrates the ability of the Bitcoin network to mint digital tokens, similar to many other major blockchains. However, with the arrival of Ordinals and the BRC-20 trend, Bitcoin transaction fees have risen again in the past few days. Currently, according to Bitinfocharts data, the average cost of sending Bitcoin is $24.10.
