This year's Google Trends "AI" search value far exceeds "Bitcoin" and "crypto"
According to Golden Finance, user interest in searching for artificial intelligence (AI) far exceeds "Bitcoin" or "crypto" this year, according to Google Trends data. Since 2020, search interest in "Bitcoin" and "crypto" (occasionally) has surpassed "AI," but this trend began to reverse around August 2022.
The search volume for "AI" exploded around November 2022, when OpenAI's ChatGPT was launched, widening the gap with encryption-related search terms. Currently, global interest in "AI" scores 91 in Google Trends, while "Bitcoin" scores 22.
