Due to 17 million transactions on November 16, more than 955,000 MATIC will be destroyed through EIP-1559
21.co analyst Tom Wan stated on social media that due to the 17 million transactions on November 16th, over 955,000 MATIC tokens will be burned through EIP-1559 (approximately $764,000). The amount burned is 7 times higher than the previous ATH burn and accounts for 3% of the total burn. So far, 27.4 million MATIC tokens have been burned.
