Strategy (MSTR), Coinbase (COIN), American Bitcoin (ABTC): Shares in the crypto-related companies all closed up more than 7% after President Trump had a friendly meeting with digital-currency leaders at the White House.
Moderna (MRNA): Shares plunged 23.6% following yesterday's 177% rally, the biggest in the S&P 500 in the past 25 years.
Walmart (WMT): The retailer posted its weakest sales growth in over six years; shares fell 9.2%.
Advance Auto Parts (AAP): Shares closed 24.6% lower after the car-parts seller reported a decline in both same-store and net sales, noting that fewer people were picking up DIY projects for their automobiles.
Alibaba (BABA): The Chinese company's U.S.-listed shares ticked up 1.3%, reversing an earler slight drop, after it reported a steep drop in profit amid heavy investments in AI.
Coty (COTY): The beauty company reported a bigger loss and forecast a drop in sales in the current quarter. Shares were down 9.2%.
