Shiba Inu Sees 110 Billion In Outflows As Burns Go Hard

More than 110 billion SHIB tokens have moved off exchanges in a notable withdrawal that could reduce immediately available selling supply. Namely, the outflow arrives as the Japanese guard dog-themed Shiba Inu coin continues to face pressure from broader crypto-market drowsiness.

Exchange balances are closely watched as a gauge of potential sell-side liquidity. Tokens transferred into private wallets are not permanently removed from the market, but sustained withdrawals can indicate that holders are ready to hold SHIB for the long-term.

Exchange Outflows Ease Near-Term Pressure

Surely, the reported 110 billion SHIB net outflow by CoinGlass may soften some near-term selling challenges. However, the movement alone does not establish renewed demand or guarantee a price recovery right away.

Meme currencies have generally remained vulnerable during periods of weaker risk appetite, and SHIB’s ability to stabilize will depend largely on whether buyers return alongside any continued reduction in exchange-held supply.

Shibarium Burns Persist Amid Activity Concerns

At the same time, Shibarium L2 has continued to burn hundreds of millions of SHIB, according to Mazrael, a longtime Shibarium ecosystem contributor.

The update came amid community concern about a sharp reported drop in network transaction activity and renewed questions over the role of Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) within the ecosystem.

Burns permanently reduce the circulating supply by sending tokens to inaccessible addresses.

While hundreds of millions of SHIB represent a meaningful operational figure for the community, SHIB’s overall supply remains large enough that burn activity by itself is unlikely to dictate price direction.

Supply-Side Signals Still Require Demand

The combination of exchange withdrawals and ongoing burns gives SHIB holders two supply-side developments to monitor. The more decisive signal would be a sustained improvement in market demand and network engagement.

Without that, lower exchange balances and continued burns may simply soften, rather than reverse, Shiba Inu’s sleepiness.
