In 2025, Russia’s placer gold production will increase to 77.5 tons, with the Khabarovsk Krai leading the growth.

(1) The Director of the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use of Russia, Kazanov, stated at the 2nd All-Russian "Russia Placer Gold" Forum that in 2025, Russia’s placer gold production will reach 77.5 tons, an increase of approximately 1.3% year-on-year. (2) The leading regions in gold mining are Khabarovsk Krai, Zabaykalsky Krai, and the Republic of Buryatia. (3) Among them, gold output in Khabarovsk Krai increased by 638 kilograms year-on-year, becoming the main driver of growth.
