Arthur Hayes: Flop Tokenomics Expected to Be Announced Next Week, Whitepaper Still in Progress
BlockBeats News, August 19th - Arthur Hayes announced that the FLOP whitepaper has not been released yet because the team is still in communication with relevant stakeholders to ensure that the final solution is robust enough in both technical design and tokenomics. The team chose to pre-announce FLOP to gather more feedback. Starting next week, simple but informative charts will be gradually released to introduce FLOP's tokenomics design.
Previously, Arthur Hayes declared his end to retirement, coming out of retirement to lead Flop Labs and launch the token FLOP. He stated that FLOP will serve as the "food of AI Agents" and the project will not engage in presale or introduce VCs. Instead, it will adopt a 100% fair distribution model, aiming to create a currency for the Agentic Economy. A large-scale airdrop is expected to take place in the fourth quarter of 2026, with the genesis block set to launch in the first quarter of 2027.
