  1. US President Trump stated on Tuesday that there are neither ongoing nor planned negotiations with Iran, insisting that the Strait of Hormuz is open and functioning normally. This directly contradicts Iran's claim that the strait remains closed.
  2. The temporary ceasefire agreement expired on Monday. Senior Iranian officials announced a shift to an "all-out offensive" military posture due to diplomatic stalemate, but neither side reported new attacks on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the British maritime agency reported that a departing vessel was attacked by unidentified projectiles in the strait on Tuesday, resulting in engine room damage and crew casualties.
  3. Iran's chief negotiator reiterated in parliament that the strait will remain blockaded until the US fulfills the conditions listed in the June temporary agreement, including lifting port blockades, revoking oil sanctions, unfreezing assets, and ending military operations. The US side stated it has no intention to extend the expired sixty-day negotiation framework.
  4. Although Iran claims it remains open to dialogue, officials stressed that negotiations do not equate to surrender and that military pressure from Israel and the US will not break its resolve. Benchmark Brent crude futures have surged during the conflict, closing above $91 per barrel on Tuesday, with energy prices remaining at high levels.
